Thanks for the story from E.B. in Baltimore. However, I thought I was reading my story. I, too, joined CCCS and after 17 months with them and $15,000, my initial debt of $42,300 had only reduced to $38,000. The only thing CCCS did for me was stop the calls from creditors. The $882 that I was paying them per month was what I was already paying out each month on my own and it left me completely strapped. Quite frankly, I think CCCS is a joke
They know how the industry works and the "scare" tactics some of the creditors use. Their client website is a very useful way of contacting customer service as well as tracking progress on the program.
